Rachel Maddow interviewed progressive radio host and author, David Sirota last night about his new book, Back to Our Future - How the 1980s explain the world we live in now, our culture, our politics, our everything.

David Sirota talks about the teachings of the 1980s - the idea that war can solve any foreign policy problem and the idea that tax cuts can solve any domestic policy problem - and the false legends passed down in the past two decades, of the success of these ideas.
