The government's vision for the Lokpal Bill seems to be vastly different from that of the civil society and yet, after 40 years, we still don't exactly know or understand what that vision is!
We need a national poll to determine the public mood. Should the civil society representatives compromise on one thing, something or everything? Should they let the bill be drafted as per the wishes of their government counterparts? If that's what we wanted, why were we supporting Anna Hazare's fast a mere 6 weeks ago.
Why is the government testing the patience of the population? How out of touch are they? Can I start a recall petition? The government may well end up provoking another citizen agitation with this careless arrogant attitude.

ANNA IS JUST GREAT. I HAVE SEEN THE CORUPTION FROM VERY CLOSE. ALL BIG POST ARE CALLED POLITICAL POST. A CMD OF PSU OR ANY ORGANISATION HEAD OR ANY OTHER HEAD IN GOVT. DEPTT MOST OF THEM ARE AFTER MAKING SOME INFLUENCE BY WRONG MEAN IS APPOINTED. WHAT HE WILL DO HE WILL ARRANGE SOME PEOPLE LIKE HIM IN THE DEPTT. AND AND THEY WILL LOOT THE DEPTT. AND CHAMCHA HE MADE WILL DO ALL KINDS OF WRONG ACTS WITH THEIR JUNIOR AND NO ONE CAN SAVE THOSE JUNIORS. THEY CAN BE SACKED BY THEM. AFTER THEM IF VICTIM A POORMAN GOES TO COURT AND THOSE CORRUPT WILL ARRANGE SOME HIGHLY INFLUENTIAL ADVOCATE WHO IS KNOWN FOR HIS RELATIVE NEARER AND DEARER IN THE COURT, HE WILL ENJOY PUBLIC MONEY SPEND BY THE GOVT DEPTS. FOR THAT HE WILL DRAG ON THE CASE UPTO ANY LENGTH OF TIME BY ALL MEANS.
I AM A VICTIM OF SUCH PRACTIC.
