Man, I sure hope Renuka Chowdhury does not speak for the UPA government. She is an embarrassment.  Is Prashant Bhushan "pessimistic" for talking about corruption in India on national tv? Is Anna Hazare "pessimistic" for trying to create a strong effective independent corruption fighting Ombudsman (Lokpal) who will not be held back by the complexities of red tape and multiple political masters?

Since when it is "sad" to discuss the problems of the country and cite statistics? Since when do we "feel sorry" for Kiran Bedi, the world famous beloved ex-cop as she turns activist and points out the Indian people have silently suffered through decades of countless acts of corruption, big and small and stupendous and mundane?  To quote the lady herself, "Hellooo!"
