I hadn't heard this song before today when it popped up on my twitter stream (thank you @maggieprincess) but I couldn't stop replaying it all day. Just listen to those lyrics!
But with the shocking events of the day, I can't leave it at just that. A very senior well known crime reporter was shot dead outside his residence in Bombay. RIP Jyotirmay Dey.
The Indian twitterrati reeled at the news, quickly traded conspiracy theories and when nobody felt comfortable ruling out the hand of the state, we were left wondering, how did we get here?
